Device for a patient who has had a stroke??? please help...? - communication for stroke patients
Does anyone know of communications device, a patient may be used when recovering from a stroke? Patient can not speak and can move his fingers and lift his arms. I thought a laptop, but the buttons are too small to be seen. it is a little old. I would welcome any information that could help me with these devices. Thank you in advance. =)

Pencil and paper?
ReplyDeleteUse large index cards with pictures or letters of the common expression of a person (water, etc..)) Any toy (children's use of memory, many of them should have. Easy and cheap.
